Several reasons could be responsible for why your Arlo Camera Offline Sometimes, it’s an outdated network connection, while other times an improper network configuration could be one of the main issues.

Why Is My Arlo Base Station Offline?

Before moving forward towards the troubleshooting methods, I would like you to know the reasons why your Arlo Base Station is in offline mode.

1. Your Internet Is Very Slow 

It may be possible that your internet connection is very slow. This is the reason why your Arlo Keeps Going Offline. 

Hence, you need to check the internet speed and if you find anything wrong with the wifi, do call your network service providers. 

2. Your Network Configuration is Improper 

An improper network configuration could be another reason why Arlo Camera Not Recording and is in offline mode. 

3. Outdated Router’s Firmware

If you do not update the firmware of the router to its latest update, an issue like Arlo Base Station Offline may occur. 

So, update the firmware of the router and then connect the Arlo Base station again. 

How To Fix When Your Arlo Base Station Is Offline?

1. Verify All The Cable Connections

All the cables that you have connected with the router and the Arlo camera should be tightened well. Several times, we forget to tighten the cables properly and the Arlo Camera Stopped Recording. 

2. Your Power Adapter Should Be Working 

Don’t forget to check the power adapter of the base station. Several times, we forget to switch ON the power adapter and end up facing the issues like this. 

3. Your Base Station Should Be Synced With The Camera 

Ensure whether the base station is synced with the camera or not. For the same, you just need to check the last recording. 

In case your Arlo camera doesn't record anything for a very long time, it simply means that it is not synced with the base station. 

4. Move Arlo Camera Near The Base Station 

We have resolved many cases in which the Arlo user used to place it far from the router. This is the reason why your Arlo Base Station Offline or Arlo Offline.

Hence, move the security camera near the router and then check whether it has synced with the base station or not. 

5. Reset The Arlo Camera To Factory Defaults 

Even after trying all the steps if still your Arlo Not Recording All Motion, Reset Arlo Camera to the factory defaults. 

You just need to press the reset button given at the back of the camera. Wait for a while until the Led light on the base station turns Solid Green.
